Nine agents on the median desk

The median knowledge worker in our sample now has nine distinct agents available inside their daily tools. Few could name more than four.

The detail

The cost is not the agents themselves. It is the overlap: three tools that summarise, two that draft replies, and no shared record of which one anyone trusts.

We expect this number to keep climbing, and think the organisations who get ahead of it will be the ones treating the agent estate as an inventory problem first.
